Its haunted house
The snake is currently housed at "The Edge of Hell Haunted House", a haunted house: it is kept coiled in a corner of the house. When it comes time for the performance, Medusa remains completely still so that the house guests can admire it. People who work in contact with the snake describe it as tolerable and respectable by others; unless it is agitated, hungry or provoked.

Medusa "purrs"
One curious characteristic of Medusa, reported on the website of Full Moon Productions, is that she has been known to accidentally bite its tail instead of dinner. Also, it has been reported that Medusa "purrs" (just like a cat) when it is happy, while instead it has been heard to "hiss" if it is distressed or annoyed.

Its diet
Medusa eats rabbits, pigs and deer-she even managed to eat a whole deer weighing 18 kg (40 pounds) at one time. The same Medusa weighed 158.8 kg (350 pounds) when measured in 2011.
