Siberian cat, the perfect cat for those with allergies

The Siberian cat is a feline characterised by its semi-long coat and rather massive size. This breed is the result of natural selection between the wild forest cat and the domestic cat brought to Siberian Russia by settlers.

One of the main characteristics of these cats is their almost total inability to produce the Fel D1 protein, which can cause reactions in some allergic persons, and it is for this reason that it is a cat suitable for those who have this type of problem. Because of this characteristic, the Siberian cat is considered a hypoallergenic breed.

Let us find out more about its other characteristics.
