Kiang - Equus kiang
The kiang is the largest species of Tibetan antelope, a wild type of yak that lives at high altitudes. A symbol of strength and power to Tibetan culture, it is a fast runner and an excellent jumper, but it is endangered due to hunting for its fur, with only about 200 remaining in the wild.

Alpine chough - Pyrrhocorax graculus
The alpine chough is an animal that lives at high altitudes in Europe, Asia and North Africa, reaching as high as 26,900 feet (8,000 m.). It has thick fur and a respiratory system adapted for extreme conditions. Its powerful beak helps it break ice and snow.

Mountain goat - Oreamnos americanus
Mountain goats are herbivores well-adapted to live in harsh environments, such as the mountains of North America, Europe and Asia, up to 16,000 (4800 m.) feet above sea level. They have thick fur that protects against the cold and hooves suitable for climbing rocky terrain. They are social animals living in herds of up to 100 individuals, consisting mainly of females and their young, with males living in separate herds.
Brown bear
Brown bears are an adaptable species that live in many parts of the world, with a particular penchant for mountainous regions. They have thick fur and powerful claws for climbing slopes and are adept at foraging, even in harsh conditions. These adaptations make them ideal for living at high altitudes of up to 5,000 meters.

Tibetan Gazelle - Procapra picticaudata
The Tibetan gazelle is a small antelope that lives in the alpine grasslands and steppes of Asia. Its ability to inhabit altitudes up to 18,900 feet (5700 m.) is remarkable. These animals feed on grasses, shrubs and herbs, and migrate to lower elevations during winter.
Bearded vulture or Lammergeier
The lammergeier, also known as the bearded vulture, is a large Old World vulture that lives at high altitudes of up to 5,000 m. It is widespread in Europe, Asia and Africa and has the characteristic of breaking the bones of its prey to eat the internal marrow.

Himalayan marmot - Marmota himalayana
The Himalayan marmot is a large herbivorous rodent that lives in colonies at high altitudes between 3,000 and 5,000 meters above sea level. They are adapted to their cold and inhospitable environment by their thick fur and subcutaneous fat. Their population is threatened by human hunting and habitat expansion.
Yak - Bos grunniens
The yak is a cattle found in the Himalayan region, Tibet and China, and some populations are in the wild. Because of their thick coats and their resistance to extreme weather conditions, yaks can live at high altitudes of up to 6,000 m.

Himalayan Tahr- Hemitragus jemlahicus
The himalayan tahr is an agile herbivore that lives at high altitudes in the mountains of China, India and Nepal. Because of its ability to survive extremely cold temperatures and its agility, it is well adapted to its hostile environment. Its diet consists mainly of grasses and shrubs.

The world is beautiful because it is diverse, is a phrase we have heard a thousand times, and this is true not only for human beings, but also for animals.
On our planet, the variety of fauna is far greater than that of human beings, who are basically almost all the same.
